Luna’s Loaf Letter #2 - 2025 Late November

Friends,
At Luna’s we mill our own organic grain.
Warmth
Winter has stepped in suddenly. This morning the thermometer hit -2 degrees, and those clear blue skies carry a sharp sting. Inside the bakery, the contrast is almost startling: the hum of ovens, the soft steam rising off dough, the quiet work of hands bringing warmth back into the world.
As the season narrows and the light thins, we find ourselves leaning even more into the grounding rituals of baking. Luna’s has always been a small act of devotion to grain, soil, community and good work—and this month, something new is rising.
OFFERING: Free loaf of Country Sourdough this Sunday 30 Dec for the first 100 who buy a tea/coffee in Dartington - 9am-12:30pm
Little Luna’s
Opening in Totnes, Tuesday
December 2nd, 4pm - 9pm
Little Luna’s in Totnes, 101a High St.
We’re so delighted to announce that Little Luna’s—after many unexpected speed bumps—will open its doors in Totnes on Tuesday 2nd December, 4pm-9pm. This will be a gentle opening in time for the Christmas market.
A small space with a big heart: we'll start off with some mince pie madness, warmed Goldtooth Vermouth which is a beautiful herbal elixir made by Venus in Ibiza, and some warming snacks straight from our ovens.
To start with, each week we will be there with morning pastries, bread we make with organic grain we mill ourselves, and (we don’t say this lightly) perhaps the best sandwiches you’ll ever eat.
